Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set out the terms on which Soulakis Bros Constructions LTD ("we", "us", "our") supplies products through soulakisbros.com (the "Website"). Please read them before placing an order.

By using the Website or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website or place an order. We also recommend reading our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your personal data.

Placing an order

  • To place an order you must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
  • When you place an order you make an offer to buy the products at the prices shown. A contract between us is formed only when we send you an order confirmation by email.
  • We may decline an order — for example if a product is unavailable, if there is an error in the price or description, or if we suspect fraud. If we have already taken payment, we will refund it in full.
  • Please check the details in your order confirmation and tell us promptly if anything is wrong.

Prices and payment

  • All prices are shown in euro and include VAT where applicable. Any delivery charge is shown before you confirm your order.
  • We may change prices at any time. Changes do not affect orders we have already confirmed.
  • Payment is made by card through Stripe. You enter your card details directly into Stripe’s secure payment form; we never see or store your full card number.
  • If a payment is declined, or is reversed after we have dispatched your order, you remain liable for the amount due.

Delivery

  • We deliver to the areas shown at checkout. The delivery charge is displayed before you place your order.
  • Unless we agree otherwise, we will deliver within 30 days of the order confirmation.
  • Risk in the products passes to you when they are delivered to you or to a person you have nominated to receive them.
  • Delays caused by events outside our reasonable control are not our responsibility, but we will keep you informed and deliver as soon as we reasonably can.

Right of withdrawal (returns)

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason. This is set out in Article 20 of the Consumer Protection Law 112(I)/2021.

  • The 14-day period runs from the day you, or someone you nominated, receives the goods.
  • To withdraw, tell us clearly before the period ends — by email is fine. You do not have to use any particular form, but you must tell us. Simply returning the goods is not enough.
  • We will refund you within 14 days of being told of your withdrawal, including the standard delivery charge you paid. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or proof that you have returned them.
  • You must send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing. You bear the direct cost of returning them.
  • You are responsible for any loss in value of the goods that results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
  • The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised. This includes any product we manufacture to order.

Defective goods

Products we supply must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. You have a legal guarantee of conformity lasting two years under the applicable EU and Cypriot consumer law.

  • If a product is faulty or not as described, contact us and tell us what is wrong.
  • Depending on the circumstances you may be entitled to repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund.
  • This guarantee is in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights as a consumer.

Intellectual property

  • All content on the Website — including text, images, logos, designs and software — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law.
  • You may view and print pages of the Website for your own personal, non-commercial use.
  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any part of the Website without our prior written permission.

Our liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
  • If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our negligence. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable to both of us when the contract was formed.
  • We are not liable for business losses. If you are buying for a business purpose, please contact us and we can agree terms with you separately.
  • We do not exclude or limit any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

  • The Website may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices.

Governing law and disputes

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
  • If you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the EU country where you live.
  • If something goes wrong, please contact us first — we would like the opportunity to put it right with you directly.

Changes to these terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published on this page when you place it.
